Bring the Momentum to Boston

Last night the Boston Bruins FINALLY managed to pick up a well needed two point victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Though it was once again in overtime, a win is a win and now the Bruins look to make it two in a row back home against the New Jersey Devils. With last nights victory, the B’s moved back into Wild Card contention sitting just one point above the Toronto Maple Leafs. The boys are hoping to take some momentum from last night and bring to the TD Garden.

Patrice Bergeron was the star of last nights game, registering two goals including the overtime winner. He has eight points in his past seven games. Hopefully he can continue this streak tonight.

Look for David Pastrnak to enter the lineup tonight, most likely in a top six spot. Pastrnak played for the Czech Republic at the 2015 World Junior Championship getting seven points in five games and leads the Providence Bruins in scoring with 24 points in 27 games. He presence could be the spark the B’s offense needs.

Whats going to hinder the Bruins is playing a back-to-back game. Boston is 1-5-1 this season in the back to back games. So not only would winning a second game in a row be a positive but it would be a back to back win. The Bruins just need to get back to playing Bruins hockey. Last night the big vets stepped up and they got a win.

Puck drops tonight at 7pm and you can check out the action with Jack and Brick on NESN!
