Rookie Of The Year Michael Carter Williams has been placed on the trading block by the Philadelphia 76ers, sources close to the organization tell DYST. It’s not all that shocking, as the Sixers quietly tried to deal the second year point guard before the draft in June. The teams front office has never been sold on MCW because he hasn’t shown commitment to improving his shooting percentage and he continues to turnover the ball far too much for their liking.
The Sixers are currently in talks with at least three different teams across the league and we are being told that MCW’s deteriorating relationship with teammates has caused the organization to move as quickly as possible. The locker room has become a toxic environment, and the Sixers blame MCW. Over the last few days Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel have engaged in numerous confrontations, to the point of almost coming to blows in at least one instance.
