John Wall. Wall’s price has spiked over the past few weeks, and for good reason. With Bradley Beal out due to a leg injury, just about all of the responsibility, on both ends of the floor, is on Wall. Memphis has taken a big step backwards on defense this season, especially against opposing guards. Though he’s listed at $9900, I definitely like him more than some of the higher priced players.
With Emmanuel Mudiay sidelined Jameer Nelson becomes a great value play. When inserted into the starting lineup in previous games/ seasons with the Nuggets he has flourished. Though he may struggle a bit against defensive minded Patrick Beverley, the Rockets overall are not a good defensive team. I fully expect Nelson to put up some nice numbers tonight.
Eric Bledsoe. Though James Harden will be a popular pick tonight, I like Bledsoe because he has just about as high of a ceiling as Harden does. Obviously minutes aren’t an issue for Bledsoe and he manages to fill up the stat-line just about every game. Dallas isn’t great when it comes to defending guards, giving Bledsoe the perfect opportunity. Insert him into your lineup confidently and save some money while doing it.
Will Barton. Though Barton is the first guy off the bench for the Denver Nuggets he plays starter minutes. His price finally reached $6000, but like Jameer Nelson, I like his odds against the Rockets. Same goes with Danilo Gallinari. Gallo can flat out score the ball. In addition to that, he’s also capable of putting up stats in other categories too. Both Barton and Gallinari are great plays tonight.
Though I’m not completely sold on Matt Barnes, he will most likely be drawing another start tonight against the Wizards. Barnes has been consistent over his past three games (for his price) topping off his last with an impressive 37.6 fanduel points. The Wizards rank worst in the league against opposing SF’s so I like his chances, at least for tonight.
Anthony Davis. The Brow has a great opportunity to go off tonight against the Trailblazers. His price has dropped to $10700 and Portland has allowed an average of 48.3 fanduel points to opposing PF’s over the last 5 games. He is my favorite play over $10000 tonight.
Jon Leuer. His price is climbing and his consistency makes him a nice value at $4600. Leuer has solidified his spot in the Suns starting lineup as Markieff Morris continues to be glued to the bench. He is a great play against the Mavs tonight who rank in the middle of the league on defense.
Another night, another lineup I find myself picking Bismack Biyombo. At first I was hesitant to take Biz, but then I saw his matchup. The Pacers play a lot of run and gun, and over the last 5 games they’ve allowed an average of 57.5 fanduel points against opposing centers. That is more than any other team in the league. Listed at $4000, Biyombo is a great value play and should grab a bunch of boards tonight
Other good plays:
Raymond Felton (if Deron Williams sits)
Wesley Matthews (I like Matthews just as much as Barton, both good plays)
