Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineup 12/19

What a game between the Bulls and Pistons last night. 4 overtimes, huge numbers, and an overall great game. What else could a fantasy player ask for?

5 games on the board tonight, so let’s check out some options. The lineup options below do not include the LAL @ OKC game at 5pm. All options are from the following games:

CHA @ WAS 7pm

CHI @ NY 7:30pm

LAC @ HOU 8pm

IND @ MEM 8pm

Chris Paul. As long as CP3 can stay healthy, I like him a lot as a fantasy player. He isn’t crazy expensive compared to the price(s) he has been listed at in the past. He has a high ceiling, especially tonight against the Rockets.

Ramon Sessions. I feel like Sessions won’t be too high on many peoples radars tonight, which is exactly the reason I like him. His minutes have increased significantly since Brad Beal has been out with a leg injury. In addition to that, the Hornets have allowed an average of 42.9 Fanduel points to opposing guards in the last 5 games. If Sessions gets the minutes, I like his chances.

James Harden always has a high ceiling and a chance to absolutely dominate in all stats. Though there is some other great value plays on the board at SG, not taking Harden could be a huge mistake. I don’t see Jimmy Butler, Monta Ellis, or any of the other SG’s for that matter reaching the potential numbers that the beard may put up. So for tonight, he’s definitely worth the pay out.

Gary Neal will most likely get the starting nod once again as Brad Beal remains out. At $3800, with the minutes he’s getting, he is definitely worth the gamble.

Carmelo Anthony. The Bulls have to be exhausted after last nights 4OT game against the Pistons. Pau Gasol is already resting tonight and Chicago also isn’t anything special on defense against opposing SF’s. As we already know Melo shoots a lot; so he definitely has a high ceiling tonight.

Yes, Kelly Oubre. The former Jayhawk may just have his chance to perform once again after turning some heads a few nights back against the Spurs. With Otto Porter Jr. questionable for tonight’s contest, (leaning towards a no-go after not participating in todays shoot-around) Oubre has a chance to earn increased minutes, making him a nice value play.

Blake Griffin. Houston is the second worst team in the league when it comes to defending opposing PF’s. Griffin is a fantasy stud and there should be no hesitation when including him in your lineups tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis is not only establishing his position in the league as a basketball player, but as a fantasy player too. Lately he’s been a little inconsistent, but tonight against the tired and Pau Gasol-less Bulls, I think he will fare quite well. High ceiling too.

Joakim Noah. Despite the 4 overtimes the Bulls played last night, Noah only played a total of 26 minutes. With Pau Gasol sitting, he should draw the start and get plenty of run. We all know Noah is capable of filling up the stat line, and when given the minutes, he is definitely a triple-double threat. Tonight could easily be one of those nights so Noah should be a great pick.
