Happy Tuesday everyone, today we only have 5 games on the board. I liked the options so much tonight that I actually have two lineups I’m going to roll with. With that being said, let’s give them a look!
DET @ NY 7:30pm
ATL @ HOU 8pm
MIL @ OKC 8pm
MIA @ MEM 8pm
CLE @ DEN 9pm
-Russell Westbrook: Russ is one of the best fantasy players ever, period. He’s a beast in every statistical category and is a great pick against the Bucks who are coming off of a loss on the first game of a back-to-back road trip.
-Jameer Nelson and Will Barton should pan out to be two pretty nice picks tonight with both Emmanuel Mudiay and Danilo Gallinari out. Cleveland is playing their 4th game in 5 nights tonight and in addition to that, Kyrie Irving will be sitting out as part of his recovery process. Nelson should have plenty of opportunity to produce (though he can be inconsistent) and we all know what Barton is capable of. (click herefor stats)
-Kent Bazemore: Bazemore is a consistent player for his price. He starts at SF for the Hawks and tonight they take on the Rockets who just so happen to be the second worst team in the league when it comes to defending opposing SF’s.
-Lebron James: There are rumors lingering that King James may be rested tonight due to the Cavs playing their 4th game in 5 nights so be sure to follow@hoopscalldaily for updates. However, if he plays, he is an elite option at SF against the Nuggets who have allowed an average of 40.8 fanduel points to opposing SF’s in the past 5 games.
-Uncle Jeff Green offers great value tonight with teammate Matt Barnes serving a 2 game suspension for that situation with Derek Fisher that went down a few months ago. He should get a ton of minutes tonight, and at $4500, he allows you to save some cash for the other guys with higher price tags.
-Kristaps Porzingis: PorzinGOD’s price spiked for a while as he was putting up some big numbers. However, he’s rather inconsistent and his price is now down to $6200. The 20 year old Latvian should block plenty of shots and grab a bunch of boards tonight given his matchup against the Pistons.
-Tristan Thompson has moved into the starting lineup for the Cavs sending center Timofey Mozgov to the bench. Denver has many issues defensively, and they stem from their big men. Thompson should feast tonight on the glass and is a great value at $4600.
-Al Horford: Horford’s price has (barely) fallen below $7k and he is a great play tonight against the Rockets. Offensively, Horford can play from just about any spot on the floor making him a matchup nightmare for Dwight Howard who is glued under the basket. For his price, Horford is definitely one of the best picks at Center.
-Must Play: Andre Drummond may be in for “one of those nights” tonight against the Knicks who will struggle to find a way to contain him. The young star big man is the highest priced center tonight, but will absolutely pay off.
-In addition to Drummond, I also really like Paul Millsap against the Rockets who are the second worst team in the league when it comes to defending opposing PF’s.
