Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineup 1/5

What’s up everybody, Luke here with your daily fantasy options on this chilly Tuesday evening. Before we dive in I have to say that this guy Draymond Green is something special. Three consecutive triple-doubles and just an overall monster season for the young man out of MSU. I would put Green as a top 8 player right now in the league, easily. What do you think? Leave a comment or two. Do you think Draymond Green is a top 8 player in the league? If not who else is topping him right now?

Only 4 games tonight. There’s a lot of big names and lot of high prices. However, there’s also some great value as a few injuries are definitely boosting the cheaper guys. Whenever there is only a small handful of games like tonight, I like to do a couple of lineups. So let’s take a look.

MIL @ CHI 8pm

NY @ ATL 8pm

SAC @ DAL 8:30pm

GS @ LAL 10:30pm

JJ Barea: I only like JJ Barea if Deron Williams is out. Sacramento is without their starting PG Rajon Rondo tonight, so Barea should have plenty of opportunity to fill up the stat sheet.

Darren Collison: Collison is a great pick up because Sacramento is Rondo-less for the night. When one of the starters goes down, most of the other Kings players step up. Collison will definitely be one of those guys.

Michael Carter-Williams: Bayless and Vasquez are both OUT tonight and it is already confirmed that MCW will start and that OJ Mayo will be the backup PG. He’s playing consistently and though his price is a little high (IMO) I still think he’s a great option with the small slate.

Klay Thompson: The Warriors are playing the Lakers… need I say more?

Wesley Matthews: The Kings are awful on defense and I really like a lot of the Mavs players tonight due to the high pace that both the Kings and Mavs play at. Matthews gets big minutes and the Kings rank dead last (over the last 5 games) in the league when it comes to defending opposing SG’s.

Marco Belinelli: The former three point shootout champ may be struggling a bit this season, but with Rondo out and Omri Casspi questionable, I like him tonight as a punt play.

Rudy Gay & Chandler Parsons: Definitely stacking up on the Kings/Mavs players tonight. High pace, and other teammates are injured. These guys both play a ton of minutes and will get plenty of opportunity tonight to exceed value.

Draymond Green: Fantasy Stud. I am a little wary tonight however as the Warriors take on the Lakers. The game could easily (most likely) end up in a blowout so Green may not have the opportunity to put up the numbers he has over the past few games. I’m going to put him in one of my lineups though because of what he’s capable of.

Pau Gasol: Gasol is a very consistent player and against a Bucks team who has allowed an average of 51.5 fanduel points over the last 5 games, I like his odds.

Dirk Nowitzki: His numbers haven’t been overly impressive lately, but there should be a lot of shots taken tonight. Dirk should easily exceed value on his sub-7k price tag.

DeMarcus Cousins: Boogie is too tempting to pass, he should definitely be in your lineup tonight. Coming off of a 60.3 fanduel performance, opposing center Zaza Pachulia should have a tough time keeping up with Cousins who has recently been playing from everywhere on the floor. This is also the reason I like Pachulia as an alternate center if you’re not willing to pay for Cousins. With all of the shots that will be put up tonight, you’ll see Zaza posted right beneath the hoop, grabbing a ton of rebounds.
