Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineup 1/11

Happy Monday! Tonight we only have 3 games to choose from. I have a love/hate relationship with small slates, especially tonight because these games, for the most part, will be a crap-shoot (fantasy wise). That being said, several of my picks will be serious gambles. Let’s take a look!

SA @ BKN 7:30pm

WAS @ CHI 8pm

MIA @ GS 10:30pm

John Wall: You will definitely have to shell out for either Wall or Curry tonight IMO. I do prefer Wall though as the Bulls defense against opposing PG’s ranks in the top ten worst in the league. In addition to that, the Wizards may be without Marcin Gortat tonight, meaning that just about all of the Wizards game will rely on J-Wall.

Donald Sloan: #InSloanWeTrust Well, maybe. Sloan and Shane Larkin will have major responsibility at PG for the Nets during the remainder of the season. The Nets face the San Antonio Spurs tonight which could easily end up in a blow out. He’s a gamble, but at $3800, with this slate, I like him.

Jimmy Butler: Jimmy Butler has been doing some monstrous things. He remains under $9k but after tonight, I could easily see him hitting that price. The Wizards are without their starting SG (Brad Beal) and on this small slate I see Butler as a must play.

Gerald Green: Gerald Green is a gamble tonight given his matchup. He’s coming off of two solid games (25.7 & 32.3 both in 34 minutes) and is a nice punt play as the Heat will try to keep up with the Warriors tonight at 10:30.

Otto Porter: Porter plays a ton of minutes and has a nice matchup against the Bulls who are top 10 worst in the league when it comes to defending opposing SF’s.

Nikola Mirotic: The return of Joakim Noah may or may not affect Mirotic’s minutes. However, Niko is coming off of a 42.5 performance against the Hawks a couple nights ago and will look to build off that tonight against Washington.

Draymond Green and Chris Bosh: This is one of the most intriguing matchups of the night. Both are great fantasy players and it should be interesting to watch how they perform against one another. I also really like Pau Gasol tonight against the Wizards, and if Marcin Gortat sits, I will most likely replace Green with Gasol.

Andrew Bogut: Not a fan of the options at Center tonight. However, with Hassan Whiteside questionable, I like Bogut who’s listed at a cheap $4200. His minutes are up and down, but I like the gamble.
