8 games on the board tonight for some Saturday night NBA action. Lot’s of great picks, but I’m going to take a slightly different approach for tonight’s picks and stack a few familiar faces. So without giving anything else away, let’s check out some picks!
MIL @ CHA 7pm
BOS @ WAS 7:30pm
BKN @ ATL 7:30pm
POR @ PHI 7:30pm
GS @ DET 7:30pm
NY @ MEM 8pm
LAL @ UTA 9pm
SAC @ LAC 10:30pm
Chris Paul: CP3 is the high dollar guy I built my lineup around tonight. Damian Lillard was a close second, however Lillard is on the tail end of a back-to-back road trip. That being said, I still think Lillard is a nice pick, but in my eyes, Paul has a great matchup in what should be a very fast-paced game.
Ishmael Smith: Smith is coming off of some monstrous performances and looks to continue that tonight against Portland. The Blazers have allowed 50.1 fanduel points to opposing PG’s over the last 5 games…. the most in the league. Smith’slast 3 games– 42.8, 38.4, 45 fanduel points.
JJ Redick & Jamal Crawford: This is the stacking I was talking about. Though I don’t have anyone from the Kings, I really like both of these guys and Crawford is a great value pick. The Kings defense against opposing SG’s ranks among the worst in the league and these two guards should get plenty of shots up as the Clippers seek their 11th straight win.
Gordon Hayward: The Jazz are dealing with some injuries but Hayward is healthy and producing at a high level. He plays a ton of minutes and has a great matchup against the defensively challenged Lakers. Hayward is a no-brainer and should be in all lineups.
Khris Middleton: Whoever owns Middleton in season long leagues must be very happy with their decision because he is about as consistent as it gets. He plays a ton of minutes and though he’s coming off of a game last night he’s got a nice matchup against the struggling hornets who are dealing with some injured players.
Paul Millsap: Millsap put up 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals for a grand total of 54 fanduel points last night against the Bucks. He may not be the most popular pick tonight, but against Brooklyn, the back-to-back factor does not concern me at all.
Trey Lyles: Great value pick tonight with the rookie out of Kentucky. With Derrick Favors out, Lyles minutes have increased significantly. His consistency is obviously an issue, but against the Lakers, anything is possible. Great pick at only $3900.
Marc Gasol: There are some great options at center tonight and Gasol is definitely one of my favorites against the Knicks. He’s coming off of two 38 fanduel performances and is great at filling up the stat line. If you aren’t willing to pay up for Boogie or Drummond, Gasol should pan out very nicely.
Other Nice Plays:
Mario Chalmers (if Conley sits)
Nicolas Batum (probable)
Kristaps Porzingis (probable)
