After a lot of mid to late season rumors, DeMar DeRozan has silenced those as he agreed to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors.
The deal is reportedly a five year deal worth $139 million.
Toronto’s general manager, Masai Ujiri said retaining the veteran guard was the team’s number one goal this off-season and they met it just as the free agency doors opened up.
DeRozan averaged 23.5 points per game during the regular season in which was a historic one for Toronto. The 2015-16 season was the most successful season in franchise history as the Raptors advanced to the Eastern Conference finals.
