Jeremy Lin Headed Back To New York

According to multiple reports, point guard Jeremy Lin is returning to the New York area.

First reported by the Vertical, Lin and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a three-year, $36 million deal.

Lin met with the Nets and New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday night in California before making the decision.

Lin averaged 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists over 26.3 minutes per game in his only season with the Hornets.

Lin reunites with Nets coach Kenny Atkinson, who he credits helped a lot for his development as a player when the two were in New York. Atkinson was his assistant coach in New York when Linsanity began.

The Nets who have around $43 million left to spend aren’t done yet sources tell DYST. The Nets are still interested in guards Brandon Jennings and Rajon Rondo.
