The Golden State Warriors are still shaking things up. Not even an hour after Kevin Durant’s farewell letter to Oklahoma City, the Golden State Warriors will have two of their five starters from last season moving on.
According to multiple reports, the Mavericks and Warriors have agreed to a trade that will send Andrew Bogut to Dallas. But it doesn’t stop there. The Mavericks have also announced that forward, Harrison Barnes will agree to a four-year, $94 million deal.
Barnes, who had his best pro season last year as he averaged 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 66 games went to twitter to thank the Warriors and their fans.
“I’ve grown up in Oakland and thank everyone for all the love that was shown there from day one,” he said on his Twitter feed. “You guys have been rockin with the team for decades before we got there so it was rewarding to bring a championship to the Bay.”
