Cavaliers hold of Celtics 128-122

Lebron James had a season high 30 points including a 20 point 3rd quarter to lead the Cavs to their 5th straight win to start the season. The Cavs big three had 79 of the teams 128 points tonight and all of those proved to be needed as a late run made what seemed like a blow out a 6 point game with 3 minutes left, but the eventually pulled away to earn the 6 point victory.

Tristan Thompson had his best game of the season for the defending champs, led by a block that would lead to a big run by the Cavs, Thompson had 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

After Jae Crowders ankle injury last night the Celtics needed rookie Jaylen Brown to make an impact, he provided 19 points and 5 rebounds and held his own when defending Lebron James. Coming off his 23 point night Amir Johnson struggled tonight going for just 3 points on 1-5 shooting. Isaiah Thomas (30 points, 6 assists, 14-14 FT) and Avery Bradley (26 points, 10 rebounds, 11-20 FG) both continued their terrific starts to the young season.
