Philadelphia Sixers

Jazz stomp Sixers 109-84

Winning both sides of a back-to-back is very hard in the NBA. The Jazz did not make that apparent in their 25 point throttling of the 76ers. With Gordon Hayward scoring 20 points on 9/17 shooting in his second game back from injury and Derrick Favors putting up 16 points and 14 rebounds, the Jazz were able to pick up a blow out win, even without their point guard George Hill due to a sprained right thumb, he’s expected to be back for their next game against Charlotte on Wednesday.

For the Sixers Joel Embiid had another encouraging performance with 14 points and 9 rebounds on just 19 minutes. Jahlil Okafor also had a nice performance, coming off the bench and scoring 15 points and 4 rebounds. Other then those two it was a rough night for Philly, who fall to 0-6 on the young season, as the team shot just 40% from the field and gave up too many open threes as the Jazz shot 11-19 from deep in the win.

FINAL SCORE: Jazz-109 at 76ers-84
