In Dwyane Wades homecoming game it was Jimmy Butler who led his team to a win. Butler scored 16 points in the second half before Wade turned an iffy foul call into two big free throws with 13.7 seconds remaining to give his team a 4 point lead. Robin Lopez had 16 points and was great at containing Hassan Whiteside late in the game. Wade had 13 points on 5/17 shooting.
Although the Heat lost, their future stars were on display. Led by Justise Winslow, who busted out of a shooting slump with a 15 point, 6 assist, 5 rebound, 4 steal performance. Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson both brought scoring presences off the bench with a combined 30 points on 6-11 shooting from deep.
