The Warriors are going to do this to a lot of teams this season. Shooting 14-30 from three point range, the warriors just looked unstoppable in this game. Every time the Nuggets looked like they were going to make a run, a barrage of threes would seize any momentum the Nuggets could capture in front of their home crowd. Steph Curry led the way with 33 points and 7-13 shooting from deep. Kevin Durant had 18 and his streak of 72 straight games scoring at least 20 points ended, but after the game Durant said on the streak he had “bigger goals in mind.”
The Nuggets remain winless on the season at the Pepsi Center. Rookie Jamal Murray led the way with 14 points in the loss. Kenneth Faried provided a slight spark off the bench with a big dunk in the second quarter, but ended up with 8 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes of action.
FINAL SCORE: Warriors-125 at Nuggets-101
