SCHLAGGER SLANT, Week 12 Fantasy Football

SCHLAGGER’s Slant Week 12
Every week during the NFL fantasy season, I will give you an in depth look at the week ahead. This article will focus on a few targets and values on both Draftkings (DK) and Fanduel (FD). At the end of the article, I will list players that will be in my cash game lineups on DK. Quick disclaimer: Cash games are 50/50’s where the top half of the entries cash and head to heads against other users. GPP’s are big tournaments where about 20% of the entries cash and have huge payouts for 1st place.

Note: This will be for the Sunday Main Slate. Not including Thursday Night and Monday Night Football.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! This week I will be doing a shortened version of the Slant because of the holiday. Since this article is posting a day early, as always if you have any lineup questions please feel free to email me.

Quarterbacks:

Cam Newton (6800 on DK): Cam is in a very favorable matchup against Oakland. I think this game has tons of points and Cam is at a very discounted price.

Derek Carr (6100 on DK): Same game as Cam but he comes at the cheaper cost. I am going to weigh who I think is going to win and how many rushing yards Newton has. That will make my decision for which QB I use from this game. Also, I love Carson Palmer at near minimum cost this week on DK.

Running backs:

David Johnson (8900 on DK): Le’Veon Bell and David Johnson have been guys that I want in my cash lineups weekly. Johnson is so safe because he catches the ball and he plays over 90% of the snaps. This is too easy, lock him in your cash lineups first.

Jeremy Hill (3900 on DK): This play seems easy but it isn’t a lock because this game is expected to be very low scoring. The over/under is 40.5 but a starting running back with Gio Bernard gone for the season, I’m playing Hill in this spot.

Wide Receivers:

Brandon Marshall (6100 on DK): Marshall has his QB back this week and he is at a severe discount. Ryan Fitzpatrick tends to target Marshall more than Geno Smith or Bryce Petty. I think Marshall is in a great spot and you never see him at this price.

Corey Coleman (4200 on DK): Rostering a Brown’s player is always concerning but I loved Coleman’s volume last week against the Steelers. He saw 12 targets but was only able to catch 4 of them but it seems he is back to near full strength. I love WR’s getting this much volume at this price

Tight Ends:

Martellus Bennett (4500 on DK): Here we go back to the well with Martellus Bennett with Gronk out. Bennett is tough to not recommend because of the offense he is in but last week was concerning. It may be easier to go cheaper at TE and avoid this situation but everyone will be on him again and if he goes off then you will be lapped by the field.

Travis Kelce (4000 on DK): This is just simply too cheap for Kelce. Alex Smith has looked for him more over the past 3 games. It has been awhile since Kelce was at this price. I think it is too good to pass up.

Defense:

Bills (3800 on DK): I have recommended streaming defenses against the Jags all season. It is no different this weekend.

Ravens (3100 on DK): This is going to be a low scoring game against an offense who just lost two of its best skill players.

Guys I’m most likely to have in Draftkings cash games: (No Order)

QB: Cam Newton, Derek Carr, Eli Manning, Carson Palmer
RB: David Johnson, Melvin Gordon, Thomas Rawls, Rashad Jennings, Jordan Howard, Jeremy Hill
WR: Mike Evans, Brandon Marshall, Julian Edelman, Willie Snead, Corey Coleman, DeVante Parker, Cameron Meredith
TE: Martellus Bennett, Travis Kelce, Jimmy Graham, Delanie Walker
D: Bills, Ravens, Falcons, Texans
