Jim Harbaugh to the Rams?

There had been rumors surfacing of Jim Harbaugh taking on the newly opened Ram’s Head Coaching job, even before the Rams decided to fire Jeff Fisher, now the rumor seems to be taking off a bit. Could Harbaugh really be interested in a return to the NFL?

Current Michigan Head Coach and Formerly Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers is no stranger to winning, before parting ways with the Niners in 2015, Harbaugh had led his team to a Super Bowl appearance in previous seasons. Now in his current tenure as Michigan HC, Harbaugh has posted a 20-5 record over two seasons.

Sure, a Head Coaching gig in the NFL and in Los Angeles, would be very appealing, but is the Michigan Man really going to leave his Alma Mater to go back to a league where success isn’t always guaranteed? No way.

Jim Harbaugh is the highest paid coach in College Football, at $9,004,000, making over $2,000,000 more a year than Alabama’s Nick Saban. I know this is a bunch of what ifs and could’ve beens, but Michigan was two plays away from being undefeated and being an obvious pick for a College Football Playoff berth this season. I think Harbaugh stays put at Michigan for a very long time, and it’s only a matter of time until Michigan is a National Contender year in and year out.

Sorry Ram’s Fans, you got your wish and now Fisher is gone, but your next Head Coach won’t be Jim Harbaugh!
