Week 15 : Key AFC games to watch

With just three weeks remaining in the NFL season, the AFC playoff race is still up for grabs. Three out of the four divisions have their top two teams either tied, or separated by just one game. The AFC South contains three teams still fighting to take home the division title. There are many situations that can occur to shake up the current AFC playoff picture. The NFL schedule for this week has a few key matchups that have the potential to make a gigantic impact.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Baltimore Ravens : The Ravens defense has dominated this year ranking 4th in total yards, and total points allowed. They will go against an Eagles offense that has been struggling as of late, and owns a current 4 game losing streak. Flacco has thrown for over 300 yards in consecutive games, and will look to keep that streak alive this Sunday.
My Prediction : Ravens win in a close battle 23 – 21.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Tennessee Titans : Both of these teams hold winning streaks, and seem to be catching fire at exactly the right time. The Titans have been led by their young quarterback, Marcus Mariota, who has thrown for over 3000 yards this season. The young stud will face off against a Chiefs Defense that is only giving up 19 points per game.
My Prediction : Chiefs beat the Titans 30 – 24.

Indianapolis Colts vs Minnesota Vikings : Adrian Peterson is back and looking to diminish the Colts’ playoff hopes. The Vikings are fighting for their own playoff contention in the NFC, and will have to control Andrew Luck from taking over the game. Luck has thrown for multiple touchdowns in his last three games, and is averaging over 280 passing yards per game.
My Prediction : Colts upset the Vikings 27- 20.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals : The Steelers were projected to be one of the top 5 teams in the NFL prior to the start of this season. Over the course of their 4 game win streak, Pittsburgh has shown that they are one of the most talented teams in the NFL. The Bengals have had a season full of injuries, and will take the field Sunday fighting to stay alive in the wild card race.
My Prediction : Steelers pull out another win with a score of 28 – 14.

New England Patriots vs Denver Broncos : If only NFL fans would be able to see Brady vs Manning one more time. Instead we will all have to settle for Trevor Siemian. The young QB has had a year of ups and downs for the Broncos. Denver’s defense will have to carry them in this matchup to try and take down the 11-2 Patriots. A task that is never an easy one when going up against Tom Brady.
My Prediction : Patriots beat the Broncos 20-14.

Oakland Raiders vs San Diego Chargers : Both of these teams have composed respectable seasons in 2016. In a battle of top tier quarterbacks, you can count on this to be a high scoring contest. David Carr has led the Raiders to a top 10 league ranking in total yards. Both of these defenses have been below average, which will allow their respective offenses to have a great chance to dominate this Sunday.
My Prediction : Raiders take down the Chargers 38-28.
