MLB.com

The Atlanta Braves look to complete the 4 game series sweep of the Padres on Monday night. After starting the season 1-6, Atlanta has rallied off 4 in a row, including the first 3 at brand new SunTrust Park.

Thanks to, in large part, Brandon Phillips and Ender Inciarte, the Braves have outscored San Diego 18-6 in the first 3 games, including a 9-2 victory on Sunday afternoon. The two went a combined 5-7 with 4 RBI in Sunday’s win.The pitching hasn’t been too shabby either as Teheran, Dickey, and Bartolo received W’s in the first three games.

The new ballpark and finally getting to play at home has pumped life into this team. A series sweep against the Padres isn’t exactly impressive, but it’s a start. Tonight, Jaime Garcia will try to keep the momentum going as he looks for his first win of the year, and Atlanta’s fifth in a row.
