President Donald Trump made National headlines again Tuesday. Surprisingly not for tweeting something off the wall, but for intervening with the Chinese government to allow LiAngelo Ball and his two teammates from UCLA to return to the United States.
Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday after being detained in China for allegedly shoplifting sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou, China, according to ESPN.com. The reason they were allowed to return home so quickly was due to Trump stepping in and talking with the Chinese government about the incident.
Though after doing a good deed to help out three kids get back home Trump took to Twitter Wednesday to address his frustrations.
Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump? They were headed for 10 years in jail!
