The expectations coming into the 2017-18 season for the New York Giants were NFC contenders and at the very least, were contenders to compete with the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East title. But 13 weeks later, the Giants are at 2-9, quarterback Eli Manning is benched and it appears to be full tank mode for the Giants.
Talk about a complete 180. Which is why Giants owner John Mara says there’s “no guarantee” that head coach Ben McAdoo won’t be fired before the end of the season. There were previous reports earlier in October that McAdoo lost the locker room so now fast forward to a 2-9 record, it’s clear that he’s on the hot seat.
McAdoo’s job is clearly week to week at this point.
