Here. We. Go. It is finally Selection Sunday and we are less than 7 hours until the selection show begins. The bracket has made quite a few moves over the past few days. A couple of the biggest changes was Alabama securing it’s spot in the field with their big win over Auburn and San Diego State winning the Mountain West conference tournament, stealing a bid in the process. Those two moves knocked Marquette and Louisville out of the field. Those two teams and quite a few other bubble teams will be sweating it out the rest of the day. Things will get even more confusing if Davidson can knock off Rhode Island in the A-10 championship game today and steal another bid. There are still five automatic berths left to be punched but two of the games today feature opponents that will be heading to the dance no matter which team wins in the SEC and AAC championship games. The other three games is the aforementioned A-10 title game, the second annual Ivy League championship that will feature the top two teams in Penn and Harvard, and the Sun Belt championship game which will feature Georgia State facing off against an early season mid-major favorite in UT-Arlington. Check back here today for updates throughout the day and a final bracket prediction before the show tonight.

Update 3:20 PM- Davidson steals a bid by knocking off Rhode Island in the A-10 tournament championship game. This knocks Baylor out of the field and sends fellow A-10 member St. Bonaventure to Dayton. Penn and Kentucky both secured their spots in the field of 68 by winning their respective conference championships. Just two automatic qualifiers left to hand out.

Update 5:35 PM- The final two automatic bids have been handed out with Georgia State and Cincinnati winning their respective conference tournaments. Last prediction before the final field is released in less than 30 minutes.
