Well the Chicago Bears have found themselves a new number one receiver. News broke this morning that Allen Robinson and the Chicago Bears agreed to a deal that will become official on Wednesday according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal will reportedly pay Robinson as much as $42 million over three years, with $25 million guaranteed, per Ian Rapoport.
This is a great signing for the Bears as they were in desperate need of a number one option for their second-year quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky. Robinson will provide an instant spark to this offense as he still thrived under an inconsistent Blake Bortles.
And if you’re still in doubt about Chicago’s decision to add Robinson, ESPN fantasy expert Mike Clay is offering his early opinion on what numbers Robinson will put up in his first year in Chicago.
