The New York Jets are on a roll. After missing out on some of the bigger names that agreed to terms earlier on Tuesday, the Jets are starting to catch up.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets have agreed to terms with CB Trumaine Johnson, formerly of the Los Angeles Rams. The deal is expected to be around $15 million per year.

Johnson was the top free-agent corner on the market after spending his first six seasons with the Rams. New York missed on quarterback Kirk Cousins but still found someone to spend a large chunk of their salary cap on with Johnson.

Johnson was Pro Football Focus’ No. 69 cover corner out of 121 qualifiers last season.
