Another player is leaving the Seattle Seahawks.
No it’s not a member of the legion of boom, it’s wide receiver Paul Richardson.
Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio first reported the deal. According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday the Washington Redskins are expected to sign ex-Seattle Seahawks receiver Paul Richardson to a five-year, $40 million deal with $20 million in guarantees, according to sources familiar with the pact.
Richardson spent his first four seasons in Seattle after being selected in the second round in 2014. But had a phenomenal last season as he had 44 receptions, 703 yards and six touchdowns.
After losing DeSean Jackson to Tampa last season, the Redskins didn’t have a player that could really be a deep threat or stretch the field. However, they have that now with Richardson.
