The Chicago Bears have re-signed corner back Prince Amukamara.
After landing deals with both wide receiver Allen Robinson and tight end Trey Burton earlier on Tuesday, the Bears have locked up Amukamara.
The deal is expected to be for three years and worth a total of $27 million.
Amukamara, held up well last year as he covered the majority of opposing teams number one wideouts. Despite showing lack of ball skills and having a tendency to get injured, Amukamara howed that he’s a nice cover guy in both man and zone defenses. He’s lasted 16 games once in seven NFL seasons and has just one interception over the past three years.
