After leading the Vikings to an 11-5 record and an NFC North championship, Bridgewater’s horrific knee injury at the start of the 2016 was mind-blowing for Vikings fans. After giving the Vikings their first NFC North Championship since 2009 at the time, all hope was lost as many people were not sure if he would ever play again.
After being cleared to play in 2017, Bridgewater never got a chance as Case Keenum’s terrific play kept Bridgewater on the sidelines.
Now Bridgewater will look to beat out Josh McCown in training camp for the starting job as the Jets quarterback for this upcoming season.
