According to multiple reports the Dallas Cowboys and wideout Allen Hurns have agreed to a two-year deal.

The Dallas Cowboys have finally made a splash into free agency and filled a position of need. Though this signing could be huge for Dallas if they do it right.

For starters this signing likely means that wide out Brice Butler is gone. Butler made several public comments during interviews and such that he would not return if he wasn’t a starter. He also had this tweet which he tweeted out Friday suggesting a move to the rival Philadelphia Eagles.

But the way that the Cowboys can make this move a huge one is if they moved wideout Dez Bryant to the slot. We saw a few years back when Arizona realized that Larry Fitzgerald was slowing down so they moved him to the slot and as a result saw terrific numbers season after season.

The Cowboys will need to turn their focus to their secondary, which is young, but could use some help.
