(BEIJING, CHINA) June 12, 2018 – Just days before it’s much anticipated second season, the BIG3 made a historic three-day trip to Beijing, China. The all-star delegation included Co-CEO’s Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz and Hall of Famer and BIG3 Commissioner Clyde Drexler. The BIG3 was invited by the JYB League, a three-on-three league started by Chinese superstar Jay Chou.
Legends Ice Cube and Clyde Drexler addressed a packed room of Chinese and Asian media at the Nogin Hotel in Beijing. The packed house were the first to hear the announcement that BIG3, professional three-on-three Basketball will be coming to China next year. The unveiling of The BIG3 China will be the first game outside of North America for the upstart league that in its first year was broadcast globally in over 30 countries. The BIG3 looks forward to a shared future of cooperation and success of BIG3 basketball in China and the region, and to carry out its mission to change the game.
The 2018 BIG3 season will tip-off on Friday, June 22 in Houston, TX and will make stops each Friday in a new city including Chicago, Oakland, Detroit, Miami, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas and Brooklyn. Each BIG3 stop will feature four back-to-back games and each ticket will gain admission to all four games. Ticket prices start at $20.
